Canon Launches Full Frame EOS 6D Mark II DSLR Camera

Built on the legacy of EOS 6D, Canon India today launched EOS 6D Mark II, a full-frame DSLR camera which exhibits a well-rounded feature set with extensive additions for photographers to enjoy the creative world of high-quality imaging.

Featuring a 26.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor, EOS 6D Mark II is designed to deliver clear images even under low light conditions. It is also equipped with dual pixel CMOS auto-focus (AF) technology for high-performance focus tracking in Live View mode.

EOS 6D Mark II Body is priced at Rs 132,995/U (inclusive of all taxes), EOS 6D Mark II (with EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM) is priced at Rs 184,995/U (inclusive of all taxes) and EOS 6D Mark II (with EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM) will cost Rs 202,995/U (inclusive of all taxes).

EOS 6D Mark II Specs

With a huge leap from 11-point in the EOS 6D to 45-point all cross-type AF system in the EOS 6D MarkII, the 45-point all cross –type AF system provides AF coverage over an expanded area during viewfinder shooting. Of the 45 points, 27 are f/8 compatible, resulting in excellent performance when using an extender.

EOS 6D Mark II possesses a continuous shooting speed of up to 6.5 fps. In Live View mode, continuous shooting speed is up to 4 fps coupled with enhanced ISO speeds of up to 40,000 (expandable to 102,400).

The battery life of the EOS 6D Mark II can also be extended to accommodate longer shooting hours with the optional battery grip (BG-E21) which houses two pieces of LP-E6N batteries.

The camera is also equipped with Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, allowing users to transfer images and videos from the camera to the smart devices and upload them to the Canon Image Gateway, social media platforms, and Cloud storage.

Users can control the camera settings such as shutter speed, focus selection and self-timer in real time using the Canon Camera Connect app.
