Have you ever imagined giving your fingers a little bit of rest from typing to send any text message when you use WhatsApp for messaging? If yes, then you are in the place to do something about it by using your voice instead of fingers to type any text.
Our fingers work a lot every day for us to complete any personal or professional task. And in the era of the digital world, your fingers are the most useful part to control or operate any device. For official work, we use PC or Laptop or even our smartphone too. And for personal reasons or in leisure time we use our phone the most and our Laptop, PC or gaming Console for entertainment purpose. To use them all the time we use our fingers the most and it is very comfortable to use as it is the most natural way of using those things.
It is very hard to find any alternative way to replace it. And even if you find one, most of the time it is not that user-friendly and hard to control. Similarly, in Whatsapp, we send text messages using our fingers. Whatsapp is very useful to us as the messaging platform and it is one of the most popular apps with a large number of users.
But, sometimes it is very annoying to type text and send different messages to multiple people. Typing any large text message is time-consuming and we face typing mistakes while typing such texts. And the smartphone display is not very friendly to handle and type any text especially the big display phones. Now, if you use Whatsapp most of the time in a day for work and personal reasons to connect with colleagues and friends then a lot of typing would surely impact your fingers.
To ease your fingers a little bit, you can use your voice to type and send any text content. Thankfully, now we have virtual assistance like Google Assistance and Siri to help us do so with a lot of advanced technology and AI which will improve more and more going to the future.
Use Google Assistant and Voice to Send WhatsApp Messages
- You need Google Assistance for voice texting. So, install it, if you don’t have GA out of the box.
- Interact with it by saying: Okay Google or Hey Google.
- Now say the exact line: Send a Whatapp message to (Receiver’s name you want to send the message).
- Say the whole message you want to send him/her in a text format.
- After that, you would get a preview of the text you just said before sending.
- Then Google Assistance will ask you, is it ok to send the message, you can simply reply “Yes” if you want to send it. And it is done.
And if you want then Google Assistance can read the reply text for you but in order to do that, you have to give some access to it along with phone notifications. You can enable it from the settings app.
