For the APT package manager

Those who have used the APT package repository method to install Spotify can run the given command to completely remove it from their Ubuntu system.

sudo apt autoremove --purge spotify-client

To remove added repository as well, use:

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/spotify*

Uninstall SNAP Spotify from Ubuntu

Instead of using the APT, if you have opted to install Spotify using the default universal package manager of Ubuntu – SNAP, then here is the command to follow:

sudo snap remove spotify

Flatpak remove Ubuntu Spotify
