Q1 Mark II Native DSD DAC/Amp for iPhone By FiiO

The Q1 Mark II equipped with XMOS platform is now officially in India and available at the price of INR 8,990.  It comes with the official Apple MFi certification along DAC and amplifier parts those are specifically designed for the iPhone. The decoding frequency it supports is up to 384KHz/32 bit PCM as well as up to DSD256 (the latter is indicated by a green light). Also has both a 3.5mm single-ended and a 2.5mm balanced headphone output.

As per the FiiO the Q1 Mark II designed with some finest components to deliver optimized performance. The Digital to Audio converter of the device is controlled by the AKM AK4452 chip that decodes high sampling rate formats with a high signal-to-noise ratio and low distortion. Moreover, it uses the AM3A amplifier module which is almost same to the X7 Mark II’s ones and approved OPA926 with extremely low noise output.

Also in the news, the company has quoted that the Q1 Mark II is a “Hi-Res Audio” capable device which certified by the Audio Society of Japan.

Furthermore, the device has successfully got the Apple MFi certification,  2% of the devices submitted for it actually able to pass.  Thus, it is perfectly compatible with all versions of iOS.  As the latest versions of the iPhone have ditched the 3.5mm jack, therefore it also ensures the compatibility by providing the Lightning-to-micro USB cable along with the Q1 Mark II.

By using a specially designed adapter cable i.e. FiiO L27, you can connect from the WM-Port of your Sony Walkman player to the Q1 Mark II, so that the latter may do digital decoding duties to add some spice to your music.

The USB interface of the Q1 Mark II automatically determines what type of device it is paired with, so you do not have to manually switch to the optimal settings for your usage.
