Panasonic P100 Smartphone launched at the Budget Price of Rs.5299

Panasonic P100 budget smartphone launched in India in two variants 1GB at the cost of Rs. 5999 and 2GB at Rs. 5299; both will start selling exclusively on Flipkart from 8th February 2018.

The Panasonic P100 uses a 5 inches HD display with a protection of 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. However, which version of Gorilla it uses is still unknown and not revealed by the company during the launch.

This budget smartphone runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat which powered by the 1.25GHz Quad-core processor. If you talk about the storage of the Panasonic P100, it is available in 16GB ROM which is same in both 1GB and 2GB model. The internal memory can be expandable up to 128Gb using microSD card. The OTG support is also there to use the external USB drives and peripherals such as external mouse or keyboard for enabling the user to work faster. It has two SIM slots and one dedicated memory card slot.

The budget range P100 has a fingerprint sensor on the back side to unlock the device. Furthermore, to enhance the security,  different fingers can be used for different applications.

Panasonic P100 doesn’t allow the device to sleep when it is in your hand for that you need to enable the ‘On Body Detection Mode’ feature of the phone, however, it locks itself as soon as the device is away. The ‘Bluetooth Unlock Mode’ and ‘Trusted Places’ feature unlocks the device whenever it is near a Bluetooth trusted device or place like a car or home respectively. Moreover, there is no difference between these two variants of the Panasonic P100 except the RAM. P100 packed with 2200mAh battery and weighing 174.8 gm.

It comes with smart actions such as ‘Pocket Mode’ which increases the ringtone of the phone if it rings while in the pocket and ‘Flip to mute Mode’ which can turn the phone silent with just a flip. The new P100  has additional features like smart answer, smart dial and smart wake up which makes the device more intelligent.

The new smartphone is powered by Duraspeed technology, saves battery and data by intelligently optimizing unused background apps.

Coming to the camera of the Pansonic P100, it has an 8MP  AF rear camera equipped with 1.4 μm pixel size and LED flashlight The camera app of P100 also features multi modes to enhance pictures according to their mood.  At the front side for selfies, it uses the 5 MP front camera with LED flash. It has Multi-Modes for editing images and allowing the user to capture their life’s moments with greater accuracy Additionally, Zero shutter clicks provide nonstop pictures without any delay.
