Pune based IT giant has finally allowed its employees to work from home, and this news comes after major IT firms like Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and so on had shown green flags to some of their employees to work from home. Now, as per reports, Tech Mahindra will be giving the liberty to approximately 30 per cent of its workforce to work from home.
This culture is no longer alien, as the Novel COVID 19 has brought almost everything in the world to a standstill. The present employee strength of tech giant is around 1.30 lakhs and it means that nearly 40000 of its employees won’t be coming to office, rather they would be completing all their tasks and meeting the important deadlines from home.
But amidst all these, one of the most crucial factors is data privacy, and referring to the same, the Chief Financial Officer of the firm, Manoj Bhatt said that, this is perhaps one of the main reasons that the company has limited this number to 30% of the total employees of total strength. He further stated that the company is also working on possible steps to implement the latest models of technology with which they would be able to carefully monitor all the work completed and also have a very sharp eye on data privacy.
