OnePlus 5 Finally Gets EIS for 4K videos in OxygenOS 4.5.7 Update

After the launch of Oneplus 5, the company has promised to bring EIS ( electronic image stabilization) for 4 videos in OxygenOS 4.5.7 Update. The EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) works simultaneously with a hardware OIS (optical image stabilization) to provide shake free and smooth footage. Apart from the electronic image stabilization, the update will also bring some additional improvements and changes. The new Oneplus 5 update – OxygenOS 4.5.7 start pushing to the OnePlus 5 devices on July 31st, 2017. The update will roll out as incremental OTA right now only the smaller people will receive the update and later it will roll out broadly.

The changes and additions in Oneplu 5 latest OxygenOS update 4.5.7 are as follows:

• Introducing the all new OnePlus Slate font
• Added EIS for 4k video recording

Updates:

• Updated Android security patch level to 1st July 2017
• Updated to latest GMS package

Optimizations:

• Wi-Fi connectivity improvements
• Smoother automatic backlight adjustment
• Standby battery enhancements

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed sound being played out in the speakers occasionally when earphones are plugged in
• Fixed camera shutter sound bug in silent mode for Indian region
• Fixed missing sound channels when recording videos
