Many time we need to capture screenshot of Websites or web pages but during that time we start searching for some third-party tools or plugins. However, on Google Chrome browser we don't need any tool to take a Full webpage screenshot, for particular area or node screenshot. Everything is built-in, the only thing we need is to know how to access the screenshot command from the Developers options of Chrome.
- Access Google Chrome Setting Menu to capture a screenshot
Click on the three dots given on the right top side of the Chrome browser to access the Google Chrome menu.
- Open the Google Chrome browser Developers settings
Select More tools and then Developer tools. You can also use Ctrl+Shift+I keyboard shortcut to access developers settings.
- Run command to capture a Long website/webpage screenshot
On the developer's Dock, you will again see three dots on the right top side, click on that and then select Run command option. The shortcut key for this is Ctrl+Shift+P.
- Search for Screenshot command on Google Chrome browser
You will see multiple commands for this such as Capture Full screenshot, Captures area screenshot, Capture node and a simple screenshot of the visible Windows.
For Full webpage select “Capture full-size screenshot” option.
- Save the long screenshot
As we are selecting Full-size screenshot, the moment we click on it, the browser will pop-up and ask you to save it.
Now just open the captured screenshot and you will see a long scrolling screenshot of the website visible on your Google Chrome browser.
