Cinionic and Miraj Cinemas coalition to swell movie-going experience in India

Cinionic, a prominent name in the cinema industry for projectors and other media equipment, has announced its collaboration with India’s theatre chain, Miraj Cinemas to expand its reach in the country.

The alliance will bring Barco projectors to 60 screens across 20 Miraj Cinemas’ Multiplexes, including its Miraj Maximum, the largest movie theatre screen in Delhi. As per the public press release, this will bring exceptional projection quality, bright, clear images and an incredible sense of immersion. With more than half of the world’s movie theatres illuminated by Cinionic and over 85,000 Barco projectors.

The movie theatre industry in India is growing thanks to a varied consumer profile, increased exposure in tier two and three cities and growing momentum in the multiplex industry.
