According to the reports by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is launching a new protected IP address in which the users are going to get an added extra layer of security in the call feature by protecting their IP address and location from harmful hackers
The new option, which makes it more difficult for anyone in the call to infer users’ whereabouts by securely relaying across WhatsApp servers, is located in a new section “Advanced” which is located within the privacy settings screen.
