Honor Band 3 launched India at Rs 2,799

Honor, Huawei’s e-brand, today launched the Honor Band 3 in India that comes with heart rate monitoring, walking/running tracking and advanced sleep tracking features.

The Honor Band 3 is also the first device of its kind to feature 50-meter water resistance and 30 days battery life on a single charge.  Priced at Rs 2,799, the new band will be available exclusively on Amazon starting July 20 midnight onwards.

The band will come in dynamic orange, classic navy blue, and carbon black priced. Honor says it will launch the band in carbon black colour first and later introduce the other two colours during the week of Raksha Bandhan and Independence Day celebrations.

Weighing 18-grams, Honor Band 3 comes with optical heart rate monitoring technology that lets you check your statistics anytime with a twist of your wrist. For heart rate tracking, the band has five zones to help you precisely track and optimize your workouts — warm-up, fat burning, aerobic, anaerobic and extreme.

The next generation heart rate algorithm coupled with M4 core technology is optimized for 10 different fitness scenarios and delivers a more accurate heart rate data, claims Huawei.

The Honor Band 3 features 0.91” PMOLED screen also works as your assistant with notification alerts like caller ID, emails, call rejection, social media and calendar alerts.

Integrated with Huawei TruSleep tracking technology, the band tracks light, deep and REM sleeps, as well as sleep interruptions, and provides analysis and recommendation based on the captured data.

India is one of the key markets for Honor, the company plans to grow exponentially with the new gamut of products much like the recently launched Honor 8 Pro.

The global smartphone major now has over 250 service centers in the country and is also expanding its distribution network by partnering to create a comprehensive, nationwide distribution system.
