ASUS newly launched ROG Phone II can sweep OnePlus market in India

Republic of Gamers (ROG), a dedicated segment from ASUS for providing high-end gaming smartphones, laptops, motherboards and more… And today the team of ROG has launched the latest edition of its smartphone i.e  ROG Phone 2, it is an upgraded version of the previous ROG phone 1.

ASUS has launched two models of ROG phone 2: one is with  8GB RAM and 128 GB UFS 3.0 ROM whereas the second one is 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.0 ROM, the price is ₹ 37,999/- and ₹ 59,999/- respectively.

Now you can envisage, why we have said it could sweep the OnePlus market in India. Not only the price factor but also the configuration and performance which as per the company is far better than the OnePlus latest edition i.e 7 Pro.

Now let’s talk about a little bit about its configuration. The ROG Phone II is a gaming-centric phone with an optimal level of cooling system integration. It has multi-level of the cooling system with 3D vapor-chamber.

To power the core, it has been embedded with latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus Mobile Platform clocked at 2.96GHz which further amalgamated with Graphic chipset of Qualcomm i.e Adreno 640 GPU.

If we talk about its 6.59-inch FHD+ display than again it sweeps the ground with world’s first 120Hz/1ms 10-bit HDR 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Delta-E <1 colour accuracy and 45ms touch response.

To support the heavy gamers power need, the company has given a massive battery of 6000mAh battery and supports USB Type-C 30W ROG HyperCharge technology for fast charging (up to 66% charged in just 58 minutes)… No doubt this has made a phone a somewhat thick as compared to Oneplus but still if you are a gamer and power is your need, it does not matter.

Furthermore, as compared to the previous model the new ROG Phone II features upgraded AirTrigger II ultrasonic sensors, Dual Surrounding Vibration technology, and powerful front-facing stereo speakers with DTS-X Ultra.

Also, the company now offers new accessories such as TwinView Dock II for immersive dual-screen gaming and  ROG Kunai Gamepad for the ultimate console-like gaming experience.

The ROG Phone II features SONY IMX586 flagship sensor with Quad Bayer technology, and with an aperture of F1.79 and with an effective pixel size of 1.6µm. The rear setup is of dual-camera 48 MP+ 13MP ultra-wide camera with 125º FOV, supports Slo-mo up to 480fps, Panorama, and Pro Mode.  On the front side, a 24MP camera is given to enable high-quality video streaming while gaming. Both the front and the back cameras support EIS, ensuring great high-quality blur-free videos.
