Coolpad Cool 2 is officially launched in China

After the crisis of LeEco, the rate of new device announcement of the Coolpad becomes very slow. However, finally, they have introduced their new device called Coolpad cool2 in the Chinese market.

The new Coolpad Cool 2 is an entry-level device that comes with the waterproof body but the IP certification is still unknown. Right now the Coolpad cool 2 is limited to the Chineses market but might be soon available for Indian users too.

Coolpad Cool 2 Specifications

The Coolpad Cool 2 features a taller aspect ratio this time i.e 18:9 which is 5.7 inches in size and possess an HD+ resolution of 1440 x720 pixel. The display corners of the phone are rounded and have a 2.5D curved glass screen on the top side. The dimensions of the phone are 154.7 x 73.3 x 9mm.

The navigations of the Coolpad cool 2 are on screen and for security, the fingerprint sensor resides on the back. the volume rockers and power on/off button is placed on the left side as usual. While the SIM and MicroSD card tray reside on the right side.

A 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB port also included. The Coolpad cool2 smartphone runs on the battery of 3200 mAH which is non-removable and doesn’t sup[poprt the quick charging.

Being an entry-level device it uses a MediaTek MT6750 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. From the software, it paired with Android 7.0 Nougat ROM with a custom UI.

For photography, the 13MP+ 0.3 MP dual camera setup on the back and an 8MP for selfie camera.
