Micromax has expanded its Bharat smartphone series with a new edition “Micromax Bharat 5“. The main selling point of this phone is its 5000 mAh battery. The company has given “The Power of 5″ proposition to this phone and it is due to the 5MP front camera, 5.2 inch HD display and 5000 mAh battery. Bharat 5 is a budget smartphone that priced at Rs 5,555 in India.
The price of Micromax is very competitive and has direct competition with the recently launched Redmi 5A. It features Android Nougat, 4G VoLTE, 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and comes with 22 regional languages support.
In the coming months Micromax also planning to come out with the successor of Bharat 5 those are Bharat-5 plus and Bharat-5 pro to provide multiple options for consumers in the budget.
If you talk about the storage the Bharat 5 has inbuilt 16GB that can be expanded up to 64Gb via microSd card. Besides 4G connectivity, it features Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0 and FM.
The Micromax also claimed that at the power of 5000mAh, the phone can run for more than 2 days with 3weeks standby time.
Furthermore, the Micromax has also partnered with the Vodafone to offer 50GB of free data to its existing or new customers. The customer who buys the new Micromax Bharat 2 will get 10 GB Data every month for a total of 5 months.
