New Angry Birds augmented reality game for Android and iOS by Rovio

If you are feeling bored playing those regular games on your smartphone or on your computer, by engrossing yourself in the virtual world, by considering yourself to be a part of it, you can change your flavour to some extent by playing some augmented reality games. By playing augmented reality games, you can actually find some new virtual elements to play with, in the real world and for playing those games, you might have to go out, which can also give you some fresh air. You can find a number of augmented reality games like Pokémon GO, which became very popular a couple of years ago, but that was just the beginning. However, going out every single time to grab some virtual pocket monsters might be a hectic task, and isn’t feasible for everybody.

Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs

If you are not living under a rock, you already know about the popular game of Angry Birds by Rovio, which took the world by storm a few years ago. Even though the game of Angry Birds might not be that popular in the world of PUBG and Fortnite, you can still play Angry Birds on your computer and mobile phone when you don’t have any data connection or just want to enjoy playing some funny games. Recently Rovio has released the new augmented reality version of Angry Birds, the Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs for Android and iOS. This is a fun game, and I am playing it for a few days now. I must say this is one of the best-augmented reality games, which can give you a lot of fun.

We all used to love hurling stones in the water when we were kids, and that’s what we can actually do in the game of Angry Birds AR. To play the game of Angry Birds AR, you need a flat surface, where you can point the camera at, and the app will build a 3-D wooden structure with several animated pigs within it, just like the other Angry Birds games. Now you just need to point the birds at the structure and you can also move your smartphone slightly in different directions so that you can target properly and hurl the birds towards the structure to smash the pigs. Just like the other games of Angry Birds, the less the number of birds that you use to smash the pigs, and with maximum destruction, you can earn more points, which will eventually lead to more stars.

You can find TNT, and other elements to help you destroy the structures with more ease, exactly like popular other Angry Birds games. Even though the game requires a plane surface in front of you or the camera so that the game can build a virtual structure on that land, the surface should be at a minimum distance from you. You will find an indicator saying, how suitable the surface is, for the game. The game can be played best on open lands, rooftops, within your room if you have some empty space on the floor or other non-reflective surfaces. I really liked the game, and I’m sure the game will come with additional improvements to be the perfect, even though, I will not say that the game is not playable now.
