Lenovo all set to launch a gaming smartphone under its Legion brand

The much-awaited good news is finally out. Lenovo has claimed that it is all set to launch a fully-fledged gaming smartphone under the brand name Legion very soon in the near future. Well, all the gaming geeks out there, I know you have every reason to smile and all the Lenovo fans spread across the globe, you guys should also celebrate on this wonderful news. 

According to a report from cnmo.com (a Chinese online portal), Lenovo has been working for years to launch it and now the time has come, it also added that with this launch, the brand will go on to compete with the likes of Asus, Nubia, Black Shark, Razer, etc gaming superstars. This launch can be expected in the early months of 2020 and no doubt you can consider it as a new year gift from the firm for all its valuable and irreplaceable customers around the world.

Chang Cheng, the vice president of Lenovo had earlier said that the brand has been working on a gaming smartphone and every effort are been put to make a high performing gaming smartphone for all the customers who have trusted and believed in Lenovo and made it so big today. The gaming industry is very popular and this popularity is only increasing, so this thing is understood by all the smartphone manufacturers and they are constantly coming out with the best possible gaming phones of their respective brand. A lot of such smartphones of many big brands are already there and many more are in the process to come. Amidst all these, this historic announcement by the tech giant Lenovo is all set to blow everyone’s mind and it would be really nice to see how it performs and does it stands up to the expectations of the people or not.

Talking about the specifications of the smartphone, the company has not revealed much but it is expected that either Qualcomm snapdragon 855 or else 865 will power the smartphone, and the RAM would be at least 8 GB, the onboard storage is expected to be greater than 128 GB. Apart from this nothing else is revealed yet and the smartphone will come in multiple variants each having different price tags. 

Back in India, Lenovo made a revenue of around 6881 crores in the last financial year, so you can estimate the trust that the Indian has in it and the brand value of Lenovo in India. All I can say is that this launch is all set to bring a storm with it and it will be fun to see how other brands would withstand this storm.
