NetRack launches iRack Block 2.0 for datacenters

NetRack, a server racks provider, recently announced iRack Block 2.0; one of their flagship products with upgraded design and configuration.

The iRack 2.0 is meant to handle different datacenter servers across distinct verticles such as Banking & Insurance Sectors, Warehouses, Manufacturing sector and Educational Institutions.

NetRack launched this upgraded version of their existing iRack block in alliance with Climaveneta. The upgraded version i.e iRack block 2.0  features intelligent PDUs from Raritan, In-Rack Cooling system, Rack-Mountable Fire Detection and Suppression system, iLock, energy-saving module, reduced footprint, etc.

It is an intelligent capsule that has self-cooling and power capabilities designed specially to deploy on-premises. It works on inverter technology with Inverter Driven Compressor, EC Fans which modulates the frequency based on the cooling requirement of the customer. This also helps in adapting the dynamic requirements of the clients.

iRack block 2.0 is IP 50 rated which ensures protection from dust and can bear the load capacity up to 1500 kgs. It is integrated with a PAC Unit, UPS & battery bank, Intelligent PDU for power, surveillance & environmental management, KVM & console for server management and intelligent rack access for physical security.

Introduction of Intelligent Fire Suppression System with the help of Auto door opening mitigates the risk of overheating during an emergency. It is also equipped with complete accessories for airflow management, thereby, bringing in the concept of ready to use modular Data Centre.

iRack block 2.0 is completely scalable and modular and comes with R410a refrigerant which helps in reducing the carbon footprint and is eco-friendly in nature. It has a higher PUE and saves up to 30% energy. With the advantage of less area occupancy, iRack block offers to save on real estate as well as on the energy costs.
