Xiaomi Mi 11 with Snapdragon 888 would be in the market just before New year

Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 chipset could become part of Xiaomi’s upcoming high-end smartphone M11 and the date is supposedly fixed.

Actually, Xiaomi wants to be the first smartphone manufacturer to provide users a mobile phone with the latest  Snapdragon 888 and it has not been a secret since the processor was first presented, as Xiaomi was a prominent guest at the virtual event. The same was already confirmed by Xiaomi that they wanted to bet on Qualcomm’s latest big hit at Mi 11.

According to GizmoChina, Xiaomi is setting its gears to launch the Mi11 this year and the corresponding event for that would take place on December 29, 2020. Of course, during this pandemic season, the event will probably be an online one.

However, yet the official body has not confirmed this information nor the exact date, yet some tipster reveals precisely in advance when other Xiaomi products were presented thus it considered reliable.

Also, the speculation is still there, whether the launch will be international or initially limit itself to China for its new flagship model series.

According to earlier rumors, Xiaomi also wants to introduce an unusual new design with a large camera module on the back of the Mi11 in addition to the 5G-capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The camera module would have a 50-megapixel sensor for the main camera, while a zoom camera with a 12-megapixel sensor.

At the front, it could have a QHD + display with 120 Hertz support and a 5000mAh battery with a 55-watt fast charging function. In addition to the normal Xiaomi Mi 11, a Lite and at least one Pro model are also planned.
