After the LG G6, the Lg has launched the little brother of G6 i.e LG Q6 with the almost same front look and a 5.5-inch display that has extremely slim bezels. The LG Q6 display is flat and has rounded corners just like LG G6 but missing the Gorilla Glass. The resolution is 2160x1080p but the always-on display feature.
But in the article we are just going to review the Camera of LG Q6, so let’s focus on that.
LG Q6 camera’s key features
13 MP, f/2.2, autofocus
- Camera Features
Phase detection autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR
5 MP, f/2.2, 1/5″ sensor size, 1.12 µm pixel size

LG Q6 Camera App
The camera app of LG Q6 is same as LG G6 and easy to use. The professional mode is not there which is not acceptable as the recently launched Coolpad Cool 6 which is cheaper than LG Q 6 has the pro mode. It has three modes Auto, Panorama and food which is again not enough, if you need night mode or some extra modes option then you need to install third party camera app. The app has HDR that can your image colors punchy and optimize the exposure. One can capture the images by saying cheese, smile, Whisky, Kimchi or LG.

LG Q6 Camera Performance
The LG Q6 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera that can capture good detail images in day light. The colors produced by the camera well represent the original object and gives an overall natural look. There is no over saturation. Also, the autofocus of the camera is fairly fast but not like the LG G6. Just like the DSLR view finder where you can see the autofocus point and the same square in green colors also present in the Q6. But the LG Q6 autofocus point doesn’t always mean that the object is in focus. So, to get proper focus on the object you have to tap the screen. As I said the day light images are very good but on the other hand, the low light images are not that much. The low light images come out with noise and grains even the selfie too.
The front 5-megapixel camera of LG Q6 comes with wide angle mode and the samples of that have also provided above. The low light selfie images are not good but you can use the camera in day light perfectly to share your beautiful selfies on social media.
“Every man has a hidden mobile photographer inside, so you can judge the camera by looking at the above-given image samples by yourself”
Coming to the video quality of LG Q6, it can record videos up to 1080p which mean there is no 4LK recording. Also, the phone has an option called ‘Steady recording’ that can help fairly well in the video stabilization.
LG Q6 Camera Review Verdict and Ratings
The performance is good in the day light but it produces a lot of grains in the low light images. Overall, the phone at the price point is best in terms of camera, design, and specification. If you are not looking for some brand than you can think about recently launched Coolpad Cool Play 6.
Pros: Good Details, Natural Colors, Wide Selfie, Affordable Price
Cons: Mediocre Front Camera, Average Low Light Images, No pro Mode
