TikTok organizes fifth edition of the 1 Million Audition to find talent

Fancy yourself as a fashion icon? Are you the King of Comedy? Or you’re just multi-talented? Tiktok giving a chance to be the undisputed leader of vines, fashion, art, sports or any special skills. About TikTok, it is a global short-form video platform that allows you to showcase your talent in a creative way right on a smartphone. TikTok (then musical.ly), the popular short-form video platform, is back with the fifth edition of 1 Million Audition. This will be the first audition after the app underwent a rebranding from musical.ly to TikTok recently.

According to the TikTok press released:

Creators are already excited about the challenge and are showing off their immaculate artistic skills. The audition has seen a tremendous response and has received close to a million videos ever since its first edition! The first two days of the fifth edition of the 1 Million Audition has seen over 100K videos being posted on the app. The audition has included categories like fashion and art for the first time given the popularity of these categories among India creators. Hashtags like #1MFashionIn and #1MArtIn are already trending on the app! Creator @Prachiavtar1 posted a video of her painting skills with a drawing of a pair of lips, which almost looks realistic! On the other hand, creators like @dollupbynasra showed off her make-up and styling skills paired with an ethnic look showcasing Indian saree and jewelry, while @aishu16 flaunted styling abilities of a classic pair of slim fitted blue jeans, a white shirt and a pair of heels for that pop of color.

TikTok’s creators are enthusiastically using countless cool and popular stickers like sunglasses and cat ears along with quirky special effects like rain control using hand gestures and even features fast forward, time lapse and rewind to shoot their videos to up their game for the win! Including features like filter transitions and illusions.

A user can upload videos to the app and show off his/her creativity and talent in front of millions worldwide until 18th September across categories like vines, special skills, fashion, art and sports to showcase your creativity. According to the TikTok, they will give away USD 500 (INR 35,832) and an iPhone X to five talented creators with the most creative entries. And not just that, the top 200 participants get a shot at winning USD 40,000 (INR 28,66,600) collectively!
