Zyxel Communications recently launches an enterprise grid Gigabit Layer-3 fiber switch– XGS4600-52F. The Gigabit XGS4600-52F switch has 52 port— 48 ports of gigabit connectivity for downlink and 4 ports of 10-gigabit connectivity for uplinks. The 410G SFP+ ports are directly built into the device without extra cost.
The XGS4600-52F is designed for small and medium-sized businesses networks features both Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching standards such as L2 multicast, high-level Quality of Service (QoS) Layer 3 features such as static, dynamic and policy-based routing.
The Gigabit XGS4600-52F is a manageable switch and offers both GUI (web-based) and CLI ( command line interface). It also offers the sFlow to the network administrator which helps in increasing the productivity and find out the bottleneck.
To ensure 24*7 hour working the XGS4600-52F comes with dual power supply. In case main power supply of the switch fails, the XGS4600-52F automatically trigger the backup power supply.
