Android Oreo (Go Edition) Will Also Get Support from Qualcomm

As per the Google, their latest Android Oreo (Go Edition) platform will improve the user experience by consuming less than 1 GB of RAM. And recently the Qualcomm also announced that they will support this new Android edition too.

According to the press release published by the Qualcomm, they are now working with Google to support the low price devices to give better stability and speed. The main focus of the companies to make the low-end devices faster than before.

Android Oreo (Go edition) will offer an optimized version of the Android operating system to run Google play store apps more efficiently using less space and RAM. Moreover, on these devices, the play store also featured the apps at the top those are light in weight and consume less memory.

The new mobile emerging areas in India and Southeast Asia and Africa where consumers are looking for a variety of Android smartphone within budget along good performance. So, according to the Qualcomm to full fill these demands, the mid and lower segments Qualcomm Snapdragon processors are ready to manufacture with the latest version of Android (in this case Android 8.1 Oreo ) is released to the Android Open Source Project.

 

Android Oreo (Go edition) will come with the Google’s popular apps those were rebuilt from the ground for better performance along with a tuned version of Google Play store.  The optimized version of play store will highlight the apps designed to run best on smartphones with 1 GB or less of memory. In addition, Android Oreo (Go edition) features data usage control and monitor data usage but with the same security that the main version of Android Oreo will get. Android Oreo (Go edition) is expected to be available running on devices based on Snapdragon mobile platforms in early 2018.
