Although the 5G network has not yet officially started commercial use, the preparations around it have already begun, and the current development momentum is the strongest in the United States and China.
According to the Business standard and IANS report that quoted, the number of 5G users in China will reach 576 million in 2025, accounting for more than 40% of the global total, and is the world’s number one.
Also, according to the Xinhua news agency, the joint report revealed by the Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA) and Global TD-LTE Initiative (GTI) mentioned that the live 5G trial is currently performed by the Chinese mobile operators. It is a part of the multi-year plan that includes research and development and a network deployment strategy with a view to a large scale commercial launch by 2020.
It is reported that the global 5G unified standard is expected to be completed next year, and China would advance the 5G commercial release schedule to 2019, which is likely to become the world’s first deployment of 5G.
