Microsoft released a new widget on its Microsoft Launcher for Android devices

Recently, Microsoft has announced the launch of its new widget for Android devices via Microsoft Launcher.

Most of the netizens those have Android devices, perhaps, would be familiar with Microsoft launcher. It meant to provide a personalized experience to Android devices with wallpapers, theme colours, icon packs, lock screen and more.

So, taking into account the proliferation of cricket game lovers in India, Microsoft has decided to release a cricket widget. This new widget comes within launcher itself that can either be downloaded from Play store or just update the existing one. It enables the user to get live cricket score on the phone’s home screen without unlocking the device or using any other app.

The Cricket widget is especially meant for Indian users of Android devices. Cricket enthusiasts can now get a glimpse of their favourite team action without having any sports apps or search various websites for the latest scores.

This widget also supports multiple matches by enabling a user to follow two matches simultaneously. Users can customize the widget by choosing their favourite team.

Existing Microsoft Launcher users can add this widget by clicking on the ‘Add Widgets’ page at the bottom of ‘Feed Settings’ or pinch on the home screen and select the cricket widget.
