German Brand Telefunken enters Indian Market, launches 7 new LED TVs with Amazon

Telefunken enters Indian Markets with 7 SKUs which includes both Smart TVs and Non-Smart LED TVs, in association with Amazon, one of the largest Online Market place.

The range of product includes 4K Ultra HD Intelligent Smart TVs and Full HD Smart LED TVs available in different screen sizes – 32-inch, 40-inch, 49-inch and 65-inch. The price range of the TVs shall start at just Rs. 7999/- and will go all the way up to Rs. 54999/- for the premium model. The products shall be available with Amazon starting 17th September, 2019.

The products exclusively designed for India matches the latest Technology at the most competitive price points. The TVs from Telefunken, shall change the whole ecosystem in India with a heap of functionalities at the most challenging price points.

The key features for Smart TVs include, Quantum Luminit Technology, Wide Color Gamut (NTSC 90%) 17,00,000+ hours of content, 7000+ free movies in the custom-built Movie box app, along with pre-loaded certified apps like Hotstar, Zee5, Sony Liv, Jio Cinema etc. supporting uniquely custom designed user interface STREAMWALL. The Smart TVs with Cloud TV Certified AOSP, runs on Android 7.0 and 8.0 Operating system, along with 64-bit dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage for a smooth experience. The Smart TVs come with inbuilt Speaker & also includes licensed Eshare app and supports OTA. Several connectivity options include HDMI, USB, Optical Output and headphone jack.

Telefunken shall be available Online for now, and would expand to LFRs by the end of the Year 2019. The Telefunken TVs shall be manufactured at the Videotex Greater Noida plant which has the capacity to manufacture 1 million TV sets a year. Videotex plans to further invest 50cr to boost its Manufacturing Capacity for Telefunken.
