On March 28, 2018, Seattle, the Amazon.com company Amazon Web services (AWS) has announced that the Godaddy is finally moving its majority of infrastructure on AWS as a part of the multi-year transition. In the media press release, the Amazon also mentioned that the step of Godaddy infrastructure migration not only helps the AWS services in leveraging their breadth and depth but also play an important role in upcoming innovations. It also improves the different AWS services like machine learning, analytics, databases, and containers. On the other hand, the AWS will enable GoDaddy to accelerate the delivery of its products and services, and easily deploy them globally in minutes, to its customers worldwide.

The AWS stated that the Godaddy is the active adopter of containerized applications which directly or indirectly definitely helps AWS’s Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) to extend its reach.
