Instagram has introduced a new functionality in their app that allows the peoples to follow the hashtags too. If you are one who likes to tag the people in the group selfies or in other pictures on Instagram like Facebook then this feature would prove another Christmas gift from Insta. This is the second amendment in the app after the Direct Remix Insta feature in the DEC month.
The news appeared on the Instagram blog & according to that, you can now follow the hashtags just like you do on the people’s Instagram page. The reason for Facebook, the company that owned the Instagram to implement this feature is, millions of peoples sharing their photos and videos with relevant tags such as #Slim #nature and more… The similar hashtags represent the same interest of a community and to make these images more discoverable they have introduced the hashtag feature. When you follow some particular hashtag you will get updates in your feed related to that, so you will never miss what you like the most.
When you want to follow any Instagram hashtags of your interest. Just go to the search bar and search for the topic related to your interest and tap on that hashtag from any post.
Now, you will see all relevant post and accounts related to the hashtags. When you find a hashtag you like, open the hashtag page and tap on the following button.
You’ll begin seeing top posts from that hashtag in your feed and some of the latest stories in your stories bar. You can always unfollow a hashtag at any time.
