Features:

Find train times with Eurail’s new-look journey planner – Eurail has made search results better for busy travellers. With the new app, travellers can choose to search the Eurail Pass network only, which means the app will only show the trains that are accepted by a Eurail Pass. The new functionality also makes it clearer when you are required to book additional seat reservations, so travellers can secure their seat in advance. The journey planner works offline too eliminating the need to turn on your data or go hunting for WIFI to get to your destination.

Plan your route and track it on the map in “My Trip” – Whether you like to plan in advance or just decide on the go, Eurail has made it easier to map your route across Europe with the new “My Trip” section, where travellers can save journeys from the planner and see their whole route as a day-by-day itinerary. The journeys will be automatically organised by travel day, so Pass holders know exactly what to write in the travel diary that comes with a Eurail Pass. The journeys and connections can also be tracked on the map, making it easier to see how far you’ve come and where you are going next. And in case of change of plans, it’s easy to edit your route as you go.

Save money with extra benefits and discounts – A Eurail Pass gives holders extra benefits on ferries, accommodation, attractions, and more across Europe so you can maximise your experience. The new Rail Planner App allows you to search by country and find out where you can save money just by showing your Pass or pre-ordering online.

New countries included for e-reservations for seats – Taking a train that asks for a reservation? For many popular international routes, as well as trains in France, Italy, Germany, Sweden, and the popular Glacier Express in Switzerland, it’s easy to go online and purchase seat reservations straight from the app

Eurail Rail Planner App is available for iPhone and Android.
