Dashlane is available in Four editions- Free, Premium, Family, Team, and business. Here is the comparison between them.

Free Dashlane

The free version is enough for individuals who just want to save a couple of passwords, yet, it has a limit. The Dashlane free version comes with a limit of 50 passwords and also the user can use it on only one device. Indeed, it doesn’t include mobile devices, apart from the Desktop, you can use the free version of the Dashlane on a smartphone with the same account but synchronization will not be available in the free version.

Apart from that, the free version features auto form and payment fill with a password, security alerts, two-factor authentication… In case you want to share some password over mail or text, then Dashlane free version allows up to 5 passwords or secure notes at one time. Moreover, it can also encrypt the shared passwords.

Dashlane uses U.S.-patented military-grade security architecture to encrypt and store passwords.

Furthermore, the password generator is there to generate a secure password along with the password changer feature. The password changer will automatically update one or more passwords at a time from the list of compatible websites. Here is the list to know what are those.  Dashlane also has the provisions to restore your data in case something happens to the operating system or Dahslane’s software itself while updating. However, this is not a backup feature which only available in premium plans.

So, all this we get in the free version. For more features, one has to move to the Premium Individual Plan of the Dashlane. Note: 30-day free premium service trail is available with a free plan. It is a good option for those who want to try it out before actually paying for it.
