How to install Rambox on Linux-based systems and why to use it

Here we will help you with the installation of Rambox on Linux-based systems, and also why you should use Rambox instead of Franz, which is cool, as well. However, the installation on Windows isn’t complicated and is similar to the installation process of other Windows programs.

The social network is one of the most integral parts of our life nowadays, and hovering from one website to the another to see what’s new, certainly kills our productivity. But, it isn’t a dime a dozen to bid goodbye to social networks, and it isn’t a good idea at all when everybody is busy in their life, and the only way to meet the old school friends, is through social networks. Well, social networks have also gone through a number of transformations, and today, the social network is a community of millions of people, rather than just a place for communication.

What is Rambox?

Well, if you often get distracted by the gleam of social networks, you can use a single piece of program to access all your social networks, so that you do not need to visit the individual websites again and again. Well, if you are looking for such an app, it can be one of the best apps you can go for. On Rambox, you can access all your major social networks in a tabbed window, where all your social networking profiles in United for easy access to each of them. Recently I also discussed Franz, which is a similar app, and also how to install the Franz on Linux-based systems.

Why use Rambox over Franz other similar programs?

  • Unlike Franz, Rambox is an open-source project, and you already know, why open-source projects are great. For you, as a general end-user, it is great for you, as you can use it free of cost. However, there are Pro and Enterprise editions of Rambox with support for more than 150 services. Being a free user, you can use more than 99 services, which include all the major services, and chances are very negligible, you will not get the service you want to use.
  • Unlike Franz, there isn’t any waiting time to use Rambox, which means, you will not have to wait for 10 seconds or so, to send an urgent reply to the message, you have received long ago.
  • As I used both Franz and Rambox, Rambox seems to be more streamlined than Franz, and you can even change the settings so that you feel at home using it. The tabbed interface is yet another reason, why Rambox seems to better than Franz, as we are all accustomed to the tabbed user interface on our most favourite browsers.

So those were the different reasons, why Rambox seems to be better than Franz.
